Chief Executive Officer
Mike Maudsley joined enfinium as Chief Executive Officer in 2022. He has over 30 years energy sector experience, with senior management and executive roles spanning most technologies including Coal, Gas, Combined Heat and Power, Biomass, Pumped Storage, Hydro, Solar, Wind, Energy from Waste and Desalination Plants. He has worked at and had responsibility for businesses across the UK, Middle East, US and Canada. In his role as CEO of enfinium he is an advocate for using Energy from Waste plants to provide heat and power to assist local businesses to decarbonise. He is also passionate about the role Energy from Waste plants can play in support of the country’s Net Zero targets with the addition of carbon capture storage and specifically the uniqueness to deliver carbon removals/negative emissions. Mike is a Chartered Graduate Engineer with an MBA and is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
Chief Financial Officer
Jenny Harrison joined enfinium as Chief Financial Officer in March 2023. Jenny was previously Finance Director at UK Power Networks as well as holding senior roles at BT Group, Deloitte, and Andersen, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with EY. Jenny has worked within both listed and privately owned businesses, with significant experience in infrastructure and utilities, and a clear drive towards organisations focused on sustainability and the energy transition. Jenny is a Trustee of a Leeds University based sustainability charity, United Bank of Carbon.
Chief Operating Officer
Dr Jane Atkinson CBE joined as Chief Operating Officer in November 2022. Jane has over 30 years of experience at Bilfinger, Cape, Sembcorp and British Steel. Jane is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers, a Fellow and Trustee of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a Board Member of the West Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer
Wayne Robertson is the Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer at enfinium and is Executive Committee lead for ESG, Net Zero, Policy & Regulation and Communications. He has over 25 years of experience in senior legal, board and executive roles including at British Telecommunications, Accenture, Amey plc and Wheelabrator UK. He has worked on infrastructure development and investment in the waste sector for 15 years, most recently in developing decarbonisation strategies for the industry. Wayne qualified as a Solicitor in 1996, specialising in corporate and mergers and acquisitions transactions, and he is also a qualified Executive Coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching in London.
Vice President, Business Development
Paul Green joined enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, in 2009 as Business Development Director, and has held the role of VP of Business Development since 2016. He has 26 years of experience in waste project management and previously worked in consultative and senior management roles at SUEZ and FCC Environmental.
Vice President, Engineering and Construction
Simon Forshaw is an infrastructure project leader and chartered engineer with 30 years of experience in delivering complex engineering projects from concept to commercial operation. Prior to joining enfinium he has held leadership and director level roles at Capita, United Utilities, Zeus Capital and most recently Viridor.
Chief People Officer
Tom Darby joined enfinium in July 2021. Tom previously worked for RWE, Innogy and E.ON Group in a variety of senior HR roles in the UK. Tom is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
