Chief Executive Officer
Julia Watsford joined enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, in 2015 as VP of Corporate Strategy. She took on her current role of Chief Executive Officer in 2019. Julia has management consulting experience at PwC and Partners in Performance, as well as investment banking experience at Commonwealth Bank of Australia and ANZ Bank.
Chief Operating Officer
William Roberts joined enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, in 1987. In that time he has held a number of executive roles, including Senior Vice President of Operations, and has been Chief Operating Officer since August 2019. William currently heads up the operations, maintenance, environmental, health and safety, engineering and procurement teams.
Chief Financial Officer
Mark Corben has been Chief Financial Officer of enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, since November 2019. Before joining enfinium, Mark was a Senior Advisor for a new nuclear build at BEIS, CFO at Tideway for 5 years and led the Power & Utilities group at UBS for 17 years. Mark is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and trained at PwC.
Wayne Robertson has been General Counsel of enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, since 2019. Having qualified as a Solicitor in 1996, he has more than 20 years of experience in senior in-house legal roles across various sectors. Wayne has also served as Group Legal Director and General Counsel at Amey, and is a qualified executive coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching, London.
Vice President Business Development
Paul Green joined enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, in 2009 as Business Development Director, and has held the role of VP of Business Development since 2016. He has 26 years of experience in waste project management and previously worked in consultative and senior management roles at SUEZ and FCC Environmental.
IT & PMO Director
Andy Hayward has been with the team since November 2020. Before taking on the role of IT and PMO Director at enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, he worked at Diageo and Coca-Cola. Andy has over 20 years of experience across the manufacturing, mining, healthcare, food, charity and engineering sectors.
Tom Darby took on the role of HR Director in July 2021. He has over 15 years’ experience in Human Resources, having held senior HR roles in the U.K. for RWE, Innogy and E.ON Group. Before joining enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, he worked as HR Director for npower’s Home, Business, and Powershop retail businesses. Tom is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
General Manager Ferrybridge
Naz Grogan took on the role of General Manager of Ferrybridge in May 2021. She joined us from Veolia Leeds where she was managing the 25-year PFI contract with Leeds City Council. Before this, Naz worked at London Waste where she began as Plant Manager before progressing to Operations Director in 2012. In this time she led the Life Extension Programme of the 40+ year old facility, enabling continued operation until at least 2025.
Plant Manager Kemsley
Stuart joined enfinium, formerly Wheelabrator, in 2013 as Operations Manager at the Cory Riverside Energy facility. Since August 2018, he has worked on the K3 CHP project as Plant Manager, seeing the project through commissioning and its takeover in July 2020. He has over 20 years’ experience in the waste-to-energy industry, and an engineering background in electrical control and instrumentation.
Plant Manager Parc Adfer
Jonathan joined Parc Adfer in October 2018 as the Operations and Maintenance Manager. He led the teams through the commissioning period and into full commercial operation in December 2019. He was appointed Plant Manager in July 2020, where he continues to optimise and improve the facility with his team. Before pursuing a career in the renewable energy sector, Jonathan served in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineering Artificer.
