Kemsley funding

As part of the enfinium community funding programme, we support a range of local registered charities, schools, places of learning, and non-profit organisations. The guidance document below sets out our area of benefit for the Kemsley fund.

Columbines Wildlife Care

We were proud to donate £6,000 to Columbines Wildlife Care, a local small-scale animal sanctuary which is close to our hearts.

In 2024, three kestrels were rescued from our Kemsley site and taken in by the charity. They were then successfully rehabilitated and returned to the wild!

We were therefore thrilled to be able to donate £6,000 to the centre as part of our Kemsley PCF fund to help them over a busy summer period whilst also supporting a small local group that is actively improving biodiversity in the Kent area.

L’Arche Kent

In early 2024, we funded an art exhibition by L’Arche Kent – with the aim of putting on a true celebration of the gifts of people with learning disabilities.

The groups purpose is to build communities of people with and without learning disabilities; a more inclusive world where everyone belongs. This exhibition was an opportunity to broaden their network and foster greater understanding and respect between people with and without learning disabilities in Kent.

A truly worthy cause and one which we were happy to offer a significant funding fgrant towards.

Our artists are chuffed and local people as well as the many tourists of Canterbury are giving really positive feedback. We have not been publicly so visible for a very long time.

It’s been a huge morale boost for everyone in the Kent Community, as well as the wider L’Arche in the UK network – it’s having a very positive ripple effect.
